You can all look for pictures, videos, and information for the blog.
You can collect everything in a Blog folder on your desktop first.
If you have a lot of pictures, you can make them into a slideshow with Picasa or another web album software, and link to that.
You can find some information on the internet to add to your blog - but be sure you understand the information you use. Do not copy-paste long paragraphs of difficult words and ideas ... remember, you want your friends to be able to read and comment on your information.
Link to some interesting sites and webpages related to your topic.
Find some videos and embed them
