Question - Best Change?

There are so many new things nowadays in the UAE so it is difficult to say what is the best change because there are so many things to choose from! However, what I like best is that now there are cinemas, theatres, concerts, exhibitions and shows. Here I can see many art shows, plays and concerts which would never come to my small town in the UK.

Which change do you like best and why?

Making Forms

Here's how to make a survey (form) to send to people.

• Go to Google Documents and sign in with your group email
• Then ... New - Form
• Write a title for your form
• Write a description (e.g., what kind of information you want and why)
• Write a question in Question Title
• Write something in Help Text if you like (e.g., Answer True or False)
• Choose a Question Type - and write choices if you need to
• Tick Required and Done
• Then click Add a Question to make a new question
• When you are finished, go back to Google Documents and click on Form - Email form and send it to the class

• When you get answers you will see them in a spreadsheet
• Then you can use the answers in Excel to make percentages and charts and write a paragraph for your blog

If you want your group members to help you with the form, click on Share and send it to them

When I first came to the UAE I didn't see any people with disabilities anywhere. Now, I sometimes see people who use sticks or crutches for walking or people in wheelchairs. I have also noticed that there are parking places for disabled people.

Why didn't I see disabled people 12 years ago - and why do I see them now?

My topic is Changes is the UAE

I have been in the UAE for 12 years and it has changed a lot in that time.

I think the biggest change is the in the construction industry. There are so many new buildings everywhere: hotels, villas, shopping centres, apartment blocks and offices. Everywhere I look I see new buildings and construction sites. There are also many innovative projects like Palm Island and the land reclamation for Reem Island, etc.

What do you think is the biggest change in the UAE in the last 12 years?
